About

Kelly Leech is a registered clinical psychologist and has assisted many adults with a range of issues including PTSD and stress-related disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, grief and loss, identity and personality vulnerabilities, and substance use issues. Kelly has an interest in trauma-informed care and treatment, pursuing this passion to by undertaking a PhD in trauma response and recovery. Kelly has worked in acute and subacute mental health settings helping clients to recover from moderate to severe mental health conditions as well as providing treatment in outpatient clinics utilising both individual and group therapy.

Kelly draws upon a range of therapeutic techniques to assist clients meeting their therapy goals including CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy), TIST (trauma-informed stabilisation treatment), DBT (dialectical behavioural therapy), ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy), and schema therapy. In addition, Kelly supports a holistic approach, working closely with other relevant health professionals and promoting healthy lifestyle and self-care habits.
