On Saturday 14th November 2015 the Eastbrooke Family Clinic Burleigh Waters participated in the “Family Fun Day” event that was held at Burleigh Homespace on the Gold Coast.

Despite a wet start, the weather cleared and families from all around the region attended this event. There was great family entertainment including face painting, jumping castles, rainbow slides, balloon artists, in addition to a “hands on” craft corner and reptile show which the kids just loved!

Our Eastbrooke mascot “Doctor Teddy” made his first debut at this huge event and delivered balloons and free show bags to the first 300 families, in addition to handing out coupons for a free Eastbrooke medical travel kit – very handy for mums handbag!

People of all ages enjoyed this event with big name brands such as Harvey Norman, Trade Secret, Mr Toys Toyworld and Baby Bunting having one day super sales. There were free cooking classes from Ambarella Fine foods with celebrity chef Dennis Duncanson, in addition to giveaways, competitions and prizes from other retailers such as Burleigh Discount Drug Store, Allied Health Connect, Express Fitness 24/7 and Vinnies.

The team at the Eastbrooke Family Clinic Burleigh Waters had a great day with the local Gold Coast families and look forward to participating in the event next year.
