Today the Eastbrooke Blacktown GP SuperClinic welcomes Doctor Bashar Mahmood to its professional team of medical staff.
Dr Mahmood is a General Practitioner who has been serving the local community of Blacktown and surrounding areas for over 20 years. He graduated from Baghdad University Medical School in 1980 and after passing his AMC examination worked in Australian hospitals across QLD and NSW and trained in general medicine across a range of sub-specialties.
Dr Bashar Mahmood completed his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2000 and his special interests of medicine include Cardiology, Endocrine and Paediatrics. He is able to perform minor procedures, skin lesions and biopsies and is also affluent in a range of languages including English, Turkish, Arabic and Kurdish.
