Eastbrooke has successfully secured a Primary Care Infrastructure Grant from the Department of Health and Ageing of $300,000 for the Eastbrooke Family Clinic Belmont, VIC.

The grant is part of the Australian Government’s effort to upgrade existing health care facilities within the community, in an effort to increase access and integration of primary care services.

Eastbrooke will utilise the funds at Belmont in the following areas:

• Establish an exercise physiology gym for medical injuries, weightloss and personal health management;
• Improve the current doctors’ facilities and fitout; and
• Training and equipment for Belmont medical staff.

Eastbrooke seeks an early April start date for all works, so that the money can be effectively put to work for the Belmont community.
