The free hearing test involves testing your hearing over a number of frequencies. The result will be given in the form of either a pass or a fail at anyone of these frequencies in either ear.
The test is designed to identify those who may have a hearing problem and who require further audiological diagnostic evaluation. It is not suitable for the purpose of pre-employment, aviation, police and truck drivers.
Please note this is a hearing screening test only; passing the test does not necessarily indicate your ears / auditory system do not require further audiological / medical examination. There may be symptoms which need to be investigated, e.g. tinnitus, dizziness, ear ache, hearing difficulties, not hearing clearly when in crowds, noise etc.
