Dr Christina completed her medical training in the UK, graduating from the University of Birmingham in 2003. She subsequently undertook postgraduate training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, being awarded the qualification of MRCOG (Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists). She has practiced medicine in Australia for over 8 years, which has included working in Western Australia, Sydney, as well as the Gold Coast University Hospital and The Tweed Hospital. Dr Christina practices in all areas of medicine, but has extensive experience in women’s and children’s health.

Special Interests
Dr Christina has experience in all areas of medicine, however, she has a particular interest in Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Paediatrics. She has several publications in International Medical Journals in the field of women’s health and has also presented at International and National Medical Meetings.
With her Women’s Health background, Christina specialises in Mirena and Implanon insertion and removal. She also provides antenatal shared care, contraceptive counselling, management of menstrual disorders, pre-conception counselling and fertility work up prior to gynaecological referral.
As a former International athlete, competing at Elite level in triathlon, cycling and athletics, she also has a strong interest in Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine. Christina provides skin checks and with her surgical background regularly performs skin excisions where appropriate.
