Dr Samra provides comprehensive treatment choices to patients with an emphasis on healthy lifestyles and disease prevention.
Wholistic medicine treats the patient as a “whole”, both body and mind and at the same time addresses both treatment and prevention of disease.
The holistic approach looks at “why” the disease occurs, be it, for example, lifestyle, diet, or genetics and then sets about trying to remedy the cause using changes in lifestyle etc. Although it does not exclude drugs, holistic medicine looks at other modalities, including counselling, diet management, natural supplements and acupuncture.
