Dr Paul English received his MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery) from The University of Queensland in 1998 and become a Fellow of the RACGP in 2007. In his first 11 postgraduate years he worked for Queensland Health at a number of hospitals including RBWH, Rockhampton, Gympie, Gladstone, PAH, and QEII hospitals. After working for about 5 years as a Senior Medical Officer in the Emergency Department at QEII Hospital he went to work for Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology (SNP). He has performed bone marrow and trephine procedures, and numerous other procedures on thousands of patients over the past 9 years. While working for SNP he developed an interest in Skin Cancer Medicine and started working in Skin Cancer Medicine after completing a number of courses in Dermoscopy and Advanced Skin Cancer Surgery.
He has previously worked for Precision Skin Scan (Ashgrove), Solarderm (Kallangur), Sun Doctors (North Lakes), and most recently for Melanoma Scan (Mitchelton)
Dr English performs a wide range of skin cancer procedures including local flap (transposition, rotation and advancement) reconstructions and graft repairs.
