About

Dr Theary Thou was born and educated in New Zealand and graduated from the University of Auckland. He started working as a Doctor on the Gold Coast in 2010 after being attracted to the weather and lifestyle.
Dr Thou has completed specialist training in general practice at the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and urgent care at the Royal New Zealand College of Urgent Care. He has also worked as a Doctor in Cambodia, Ireland, and New Zealand.

When Dr Thou is off duty, he enjoys travelling with his wife and three young boys. As a former National Rep in Football and National Junior Title Holder in Tennis, he also enjoys being active and playing all kinds of sports. He recently represented Australia in the Medical World Football Championship 2024.

He has also completed additional training in men’s health, sports medicine, child health and travel medicine.
