About

Dr Yamuuna Moorthy is a compassionate and thorough doctor who offers wide-ranging general practice care.

She graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2011 and underwent GP specialty training in regional Northeast Victoria. She then moved to Melbourne to complete her RACGP fellowship. Dr Moorthy has also completed a Professional Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine and can, therefore, offer full-body skin checks and perform biopsies and excisions on suspicious lesions.

Dr Moorthy is passionate about providing the best care for people. She enjoys building long-lasting therapeutic relationships and goes all out for her patients. She’ll take her time to listen to your concerns and educate you about your health and well-being.

When not at work, Yamuuna keeps busy chasing after her two young children. She’d love to return to her Indian classical dancing and singing when her children are a little older.
