Carlton Urgent Care Service is now a Medicare Urgent Care Clinic

The Carlton Urgent Care Service is now a Medicare Urgent Care Clinic! This state-funded service has transitioned to the Commonwealth Medicare Urgent Care Clinic (UCC) program.

Medicare Urgent Care Clinics give you and your family more options to see a doctor or nurse when urgent, but not life-threatening, care is needed.

Patients can walk in and skip emergency room wait times.

Visit your local Medicare Urgent Care Clinic for bulk-billed treatment for things like:

  • Minor infections
  • Minor fractures, sprains, sports injuries, neck & back pain
  • Urinary tract infections (UTIs)
  • Sexually transmitted infections (STIs)
  • Minor cuts
  • Insect bites and rashes
  • Minor eye and ear infections
  • Respiratory illness
  • Gastroenteritis
  • Minor burns

Medicare Urgent Care Clinics do not provide treatment for regular checkups or complex conditions. Your local GP should continue to be your first point of contact for non-emergency, routine and preventative health care.

Open: 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, Everyday
Location: Eastbrooke Health Hub – 354 Railway Parade, Carlton NSW 2218
For more information, visit carltonucc.com.au or phone the centre on 02 8580 1790

If you or a loved one has a life-threatening injury or illness, call Triple Zero (000) or go to your hospital’s emergency department.
