The Eastbrooke Medical Centre Southern Highlands has sponsored and participated in the 2012 inaugural Walk to D-Feet MND (motor neurone disease) three kilometre walking event, which was held on Sunday the 18th of March 2012 in Bowral.
Eastbrooke fielded a team of five, which included Dr Rosalind Bresnahan (GP), Helen McGilvray (Nurse), Nadene McPherson-Runback (Practice Manager), as well as Thalie and Keira Rundback, the team made the walk which seeks to raise awareness and money for research into the disease.
The Wingecarribee Shire Local Mayor, Ken Halstead, also attended the event and said the “Southern Highlands walk to D-Feet MND held adjacent to the beautiful Bong Bong Shared Pathway was undoubtedly one of the most inspiring family functions I have had the pleasure to attend of late.”
