Eastbrooke stands by GPs

Primary Health Care recently launched a $1.5 million dollar court case against two GPs for allegedly departing from their medical centre while still under contract, in order to join an Eastbrooke Medical Centre. The Doctors’ claimed that Primary had in fact breached their contracts by failing to meet a number of key conditions, which enabled them to terminate and relocate.

Eastbrooke considered the allegations to be very serious and as a matter of principle decided to support the GPs in defending their names from the allegations.

The GPs were ultimately successfully in defending themselves, with Primary Health Care discontinuing with the case.
