Eastbrooke has been chosen by the Australian Government to establish and operate the $15 million Blacktown GP Super Clinic.
Federal MPs Michelle Rowland and Ed Husic attended Eastbrooke Medical Centre Blacktown today to make the announcement and were very pleased to see the local area being a recipient of the Australian Government’s GP Super Clinic Programme. Blacktown Mayor Alan Pendleton who has lived in the area for over 60 years also gave a speech and said he was delighted that such a sophisticated medical facility would be established in Blacktown. Andrew de Picot made a speech to thank all of our medical practitioners, nurses and reception staff and said that Eastbrooke were pleased to be chosen for Blacktown.
The Blacktown GP Super Clinic will centralise a number of additional professionals to the site such as dental and optometry, as well as expand many existing services and operational hours. The new facility will not only offer new employment opportunities to local people, but will also offer new opportunities to medical professionals who may be interested in working in an advanced primary care facility.
