The Eastbrooke Family Clinic Townsville is a family-friendly medical centre in Thuringowa Central. Our team of doctors, GPs and professional medical staff, offer comprehensive, quality health care to patients across Townsville, including Thuringowa, Aitkenvale, Cranbrook, Kirwan and the surrounding areas.
This modern mixed-billing medical centre is open 5 days a week and has plenty of on-site parking and a pharmacy.
The Eastbrooke Health Hub provides the community with a diverse range of medical, health and wellness services. At the health hub, you’ll find doctors and specialists providing a holistic range of medical and wellness services right in the centre of Thuringowa, working together to improve the lives of the Townsville community, from Aitkenvale to Cranbrook and Kirwan.

For your convenience, Terry White Pharmacy is now located on-site. There’s also a daycare centre and community library, so you and your family have plenty to do before and after your medical appointment. Anytime Fitness is also located within the Health Hub.
Bulk billing is available to our patients from Aitkenvale, Cranbrook, Kirwan, Thuringowa and Townsville for some services at your doctor’s discretion. Be sure to ask your doctor about bulk billing at the start of your consultation. For more details, please refer to the Patient Information Sheet.
Our Centre’s medical team is passionate about community healthcare
Our Medical Centre consists of a team of registered nursing staff and doctors, including many General Practitioners (GP’s) who have a wide spectrum of special interests and a dedication to the values of patient-centred care.
The centre also provides specialised medical clinics, including a Women’s Clinic, Travel Clinic and Diabetes Clinic. Also available are Work, Health and Safety services, including pre-employment medical checks, work cover and return-to-work programs.
Allied Health services are also available, including Physiotherapy, Podiatry and Psychology services.

Pensioners, Concession Care Card holders and children under 16 may be bulk billed at the discretion of the doctor. Please ask your doctor at the beginning of your consultation.
Level C. Immunisations for children will be BULK BILLED in accordance with the current Australian Immunisation Schedule.
Both visiting and local Veterans Affairs cardholders from Aitkenvale, Cranbrook, Kirwan and Thuringowa, will not be charged for seeing one of our doctors as they are bulk billed, so please present your card on arrival for your visit.
Dr Mohammed Muniruzzaman (Dr Zaman) has joined Eastbrooke Family Clinic Townsville.
He graduated in 1992 from Chittagong Medical College, Bangladesh. After that he obtained a Masters of Family Medicine (M.FAM.MED) in 2002 from The University of The Free State, South Africa. In 2008 he became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Dr Muniruzzaman obtained a qualification from the University of Queensland to do Primary Skin Cancer Surgery. He does skin checks, skin cancer procedures and all other minor surgery.
He has consistently provided a caring and understanding approach to all aspects of medicine and general practice to all ages and gender.

Dr Lee was born in Australia, completed his medical training at Townsville JCU, and completed his GP training in North Queensland in 2013. He has been working locally since in GP practices, as well as Townsville Hospital work, where he has good ties with specialists.
He aims to empower patients to care for their own health. He enjoys seeing for all types of patients, from babies to the elders of our society, and will happily see patients who transfer to residential aged care facilities.
Outside work he enjoys music, travel, books and hunting for illusive sleep with his kids about.
Dr Lee is available for appointments on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

He migrated from India to the UK as a young boy and spent much of his time in the UK, in the beautiful South Wales region. In 2020, he moved to Australia with his wife (who also happens to be a doctor) and obtained double fellowship when he became a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). He has experience in all aspects of general practice and thoroughly enjoys the variety it presents. His previous role has given him ample opportunity to experience chronic disease management, and he has an interest in Hypertension (Blood pressure), Cardiology and Diabetes management. He is also experienced with the treatment of skin cancers and enjoys work in minor surgery, and has developed a rigorous surveillance program for suspected lesions (moles) for his patients, focussing on EARLY detections and treatment.
Dr Shukla is compassionate about caring for the armed forces and, in his college years, pursued a cadetship with the Air Training Corps (1054 Squadron, Wales, UK). He is an experienced DVA (veterans’) doctor, well-versed in navigating the Department of Veterans Affairs bureaucracies and understands that veterans’ medicine is different!
His Interests outside work are varied and include news, current affairs and world politics.

After moving to Australia, she worked in different units at Mackay Base Hospital for over two years before joining the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners training program.
