The Eastbrooke Family Clinic Essendon is a well-established medical centre that provides a range of comprehensive health and medical services to the local community and surrounding areas within the Moonee Valley region.
Our clinic has onsite parking and provides both male and female doctors. The centre features ten GP consulting rooms with an onsite treatment room, pharmacy and a dedicated pathology to provide an easy and convenient streamlined service to patients.
Our health and medical facility is culturally diversified and, alongside its team of English-speaking doctors, offers 10 languages, including Hindi, Urdu, Tamil, Singhalese, Arabic, Spanish, Kamada, Telugu and Ukrainian.
Providing comprehensive Medical Services to the Essendon Community
A comprehensive range of health services are available at our Essendon Medical Centre, including General Medicine, Women’s Health (including Mirena IUD insertion/removals), Children’s Health, Men’s Health, Aged Care, Chronic Disease Management, Travel Medicine, Iron Infusions and Skin Cancer Checks including excisions. In addition, the clinic provides a range of medical procedures to patients, including diathermy, cryotherapy, suture of lacerations and minor surgery.
Our Essendon Doctors also participate in Shared Antenatal Care and work with local public hospitals. Shared antenatal care is an option for pregnant women with no adverse maternal or foetal pregnancy risk factors.

He is a Fellow of The Royal Australian College of GPs and is available for home visits if clinically required.

Dr Dedu Rathnayake is a vocationally qualified and experienced female General Practitioner, having completed a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2008. She was subsequently awarded a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2021. as a Doctor in Sri Lanka in 2009 and has worked as GP in Australia since 2016.
Completed her initial training and working at major teaching hospitals and general practice settings in Sri Lanka, Dr Rathnayake continued her work as a General Practitioner in Australia after migrating in 2014. She has an interest in all areas of general and family medicine.
Dr Rathnayake will accept new patients and has appointments available every Tuesday and Friday.

Dr Bautista has worked in emergency departments in Victoria and New South Wales and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
