Dr. Shazia Bashir has a special interest in the area of skin cancer including performing skin cancer checks, early detection of skin cancers using dermoscopy, skin cancer excisions and minor surgery.

She has undertaken further education at the Skin Cancer College Australasia, where she completed a Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine and an Advanced Certificate of Dermoscopy.

Her other areas of interest are Iron Infusions, Intrauterine contraceptive Device (IUCD) management including Insertion and Removal, Implanon insertion and Removal, Shared Antenatal Care (accredited with The Royal Women’s Hospital, Sunshine Hospital, Mercy Hospital for Women and Northern Health), Women’s Health, Children’s Health.
