Dr Shazia Bashir is a registered General Practitioner with additional qualifications in skin cancer medicine. She is accredited by the Skin Cancer College Australasia (SCCA), having completed recognised training and clinical assessment in the diagnosis and management of skin cancers, including melanoma, basal cell carcinoma, and squamous cell carcinoma.

Her clinical work includes comprehensive skin checks using dermoscopy, biopsies, and minor surgical procedures for the assessment and management of suspicious skin lesions and skin cancers. Her approach is based on current evidence-based guidelines, with ongoing monitoring and preventative care for individuals at higher risk of skin cancer.
